01Agreement & how these terms fit

These Web Terms form a binding agreement between you and VVDev LLC, a limited liability company registered in the State of Wyoming, United States, with its registered address at 30 N Gould St #22306, Sheridan, WY 82801 ("VVDev", "we", "us", "our"). They apply when you take our web quiz, buy a Factopus Pro subscription on our web checkout page (a "Web Subscription"), and use the web version of Factopus at app.factopus.app (the "Web App").

Our Terms of Service also apply and form part of these Web Terms, in particular the license, intellectual property, educational content disclaimer, acceptable use, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, governing law and disputes, and general provisions. Where these Web Terms and the Terms of Service differ on a web purchase or the Web App, these Web Terms apply. Our Web Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data on the web.

By creating an account, paying on the checkout page, or using the Web App, you agree to these Web Terms.

02Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. To buy a Web Subscription, you must be an adult where you live or have the permission of a parent or guardian, and you must be authorized to use the payment card you enter.

03Your account

• Your account is the email address you enter in the web quiz. It is the same account you use in the Factopus App.
• You sign in to the Web App with a one-time link we email you or, if you set one, with a password.
• Anyone who can read your inbox can sign in to your account. Use an address that only you can access, keep it secure, and tell us at support@factopus.app if you think someone else has signed in.
• Your account is personal. Don't share, sell, or transfer it.

04The web version

The Web App at app.factopus.app lets you read Factopus lessons in a browser. Its content is available only while you have an active Factopus Pro subscription. When the subscription ends, you can still sign in, but the lessons close until you subscribe again.

05Subscriptions & billing

• Who processes the payment. Our web quiz and checkout run on the Web2Wave platform, and card payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. We never see your full card number.
• Automatic renewal. When you subscribe, you authorize us, through Stripe, to charge your card the amount shown at checkout and then automatically at the start of each new billing period at the renewal price shown, until you cancel.
• Failed payments. If a renewal charge fails, we or Stripe may retry it. If it still fails, your access to Factopus Pro may stop until the payment goes through.
• Price changes. We may change the price of Web Subscriptions. A new price never applies to the period you have already paid for. We will email you before a new price applies to your next renewal, and you can cancel before it does.
• Receipts. We send a confirmation to your account email after a purchase.

06Trials

If we offer a trial, its length, its price (if any), and the price that applies after it are shown before you start. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, the subscription starts automatically and your card is charged the price shown.

07Cancellation

You can cancel a Web Subscription at any time:

• Sign in at app.factopus.app and open Settings.
• Tap Manage subscription and cancel.
• Or email support@factopus.app from your account address, and we will cancel it for you.

Cancellation stops future charges. You keep access to Factopus Pro until the end of the period you have already paid for; after that, the subscription is not renewed. Deleting the App or your Factopus account does not cancel a Web Subscription, so cancel it first.

08Refunds & withdrawal rights

Refunds. To ask for a refund, email support@factopus.app from your account address and tell us the date of the charge. We review refund requests for web purchases case by case. Approved refunds go back to the card you paid with.

EU and UK withdrawal rights. If you are a consumer in the EU or the UK, you may have the right to withdraw from a Web Subscription within 14 days of the purchase without giving a reason. That right can end, or you may owe a proportionate amount for the time you already had access, if you asked for Factopus Pro to start right away during the withdrawal period and acknowledged the consequences, as the law allows. To withdraw, email support@factopus.app within 14 days of the purchase.

Nothing in these Web Terms limits the rights you have under mandatory consumer law.

09Using Pro in the App

A Web Subscription is linked to the email address of your Factopus account. Where available, it also gives you Factopus Pro in the Factopus App when you sign in there with the same email. You manage and cancel it only on the web, as Section 7 describes.

A subscription bought inside the App through the App Store or Google Play is a separate purchase, billed and managed only by Apple or Google under our Terms of Service. If you buy in both places, you pay for both, so cancel the one you don't need.

10Third-party services

Web purchases rely on Web2Wave for the quiz and checkout and on Stripe for card payments; the Web App relies on Supabase and Vercel. We don't own or control these services, and your card details are handled by Stripe under its own terms and privacy policy. Our Web Privacy Policy lists every provider that receives data on the web.

11Suspension & termination

We may suspend or close your access if you breach these Web Terms or the Terms of Service, for example by sharing your account or disputing legitimate charges in bad faith. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.

12Changes to these terms

We may update these Web Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we'll email you at your account address or post a notice on our web pages before the changes take effect. If you don't agree, cancel your Web Subscription before the changes apply.
